Office automation
Working in an office used to mean that you had mounds of paper that you
have to shuffle around and keep track of. More and more
offices today are getting automated. With companies trying to
save every penny they possibly can it is no wonder that they are all
turning to office automation.
From the phone systems to messaging services, people pretty much never
have to leave their desks except for breaks. They can send
faxes right from their desks as well as receiving faxes, emails and
voicemail right on their desktop of their computers.
Most copy machines for offices have been streamlined and can multitask
as well. This eliminated the need for many office
products. You can have a copy machine that faxes, scans
documents, makes copies, creates PDF's as well as sorts and staples
multiple documents. Each person can have their own log in for
the copy machine.

One of the other major factors in
a manufacture choosing to automate their production line is the ease
and simplicity of switching from one product to another in as little
time as possible. They want to be able to go from product one
to product two without having to completely switch their production
line. This allows them to save both time and money.
In cases as these it was more cost effective to go with animating
systems then to keep the man power.
There are many jobs that automation can play a big part in.
If you take a look around you, you will see that more and more
companies as well as peoples homes are being automated ,making life
just a bit more easier. It can help free up your time and
allow you to do other things that you didn't have the time for before. |

Home alarm systems are another way that people enjoy wireless
gadgets. Home alarm systems will help to protect a person,
their family and their belongings. It can notify the
authorities if there is a break in and even call the fire department in
the event of a fire. Most alarms are set up so that everyone
in the house can have their own separate code to turn the alarm system
on and off. This is especially good if you have
kids, as you can tell if when they are home or when they are going
out. It's a good way to make sure that they are indeed in
school.
There are even surveillance systems that can be installed in and around
the home that will turn on automatically as soon as they detect
motion. This is great for catching burglers or even teens
sneaking in late. Many people even set up the lights to their
home on a remote control so they can turn lights on all from one main
remote control.
Imagine turning on the radio, the lights and the fireplace before you
even go into the room and instead of yelling through the house to get
everyone to the dinner table you can just call on the home intercom
system and talk to everyone at the same time without having to raise
your voice. A wireless home automation system is the way of
the future as more and more people are going wireless with everything.
